User Manual

Welcome to Shuunnya: The Aligned Community. This guide covers everything you can do on the platform, from setting up your account to using all the tools and features available to you.

Quick Start

  1. Create your account and complete all profile fields (they power VibeMatch).
  2. Join 1-2 Forums that align with your current focus.
  3. Enrol in LifeEngineering via the Courses page.
  4. Write a short reflection in LifeJournal today.
  5. Begin LifeTracker: log daily, review weekly.
  6. Read one LifeArticle and apply a takeaway.
  7. Use Pomodoro or Budget Tracker from LifeTools to structure your day.
  8. If stuck, reach out via Forums or the Help section.

1. Onboarding

Quick tips before you start:

  • Choose a unique username that you will remember. This is how you log in.
  • Create a strong password (minimum 10 characters).
  • Save your recovery codes immediately after registration. They are shown only once and are essential for account recovery.

Registration

  • Go to shuunnya.org/register.
  • Choose a Username (3 to 30 characters, letters, numbers, and underscores only).
  • Create a Password (minimum 10 characters).
  • Optionally add your email address for profile purposes.
  • Agree to the Terms and Privacy Policy, then click Register.

After successful registration:

  • Your account is immediately active. No email verification is required.
  • You will receive 3 Recovery Codes displayed on screen.
  • Save these recovery codes securely! They are shown only once and cannot be retrieved later.
  • You are automatically logged in and can start exploring.

Note: Recovery codes are your only way to regain access if you forget your password. Store them in a password manager or write them down in a safe place.

Log In

  • Visit shuunnya.org/login.
  • Enter your Username and Password.
  • Click Log In to access your account.

Tip: If you are already logged in on a device, you will be taken directly to the home page.

Account Recovery

If you forget your password, you can recover your account using a recovery code:

  • Go to the Account Recovery page.
  • Enter your Username.
  • Enter one of your Recovery Codes (format: XXXX-XXXX).
  • Create a new password.
  • Click Submit to reset your password.

Important notes about recovery:

  • Each recovery code can only be used once. It is consumed after use.
  • After recovery, all your other sessions are logged out for security.
  • You are automatically logged in with your new password.

If you have used all your recovery codes, you can generate new ones from Account Settings while logged in.

Changing Your Password

  • Go to Account Settings and open the Security tab.
  • Enter your current password for verification.
  • Enter your new password (minimum 10 characters).
  • Click Save. All other sessions will be logged out for security.

Regenerating Recovery Codes

  • Go to Account Settings and open the Security tab.
  • Click "Regenerate Recovery Codes".
  • Your old codes will be invalidated and 3 new codes will be generated.
  • Save the new codes immediately. They are shown only once.

2. Your Profile

Your profile is your personal page on Shuunnya. It shows who you are, what you are interested in, and how others can connect with you. Visit shuunnya.org/profile to view and edit it.

Profile Photo & Cover Image

  • Click the camera icon on your profile photo to upload or change your picture.
  • Click the camera icon on the cover area to upload a cover image.
  • You can also remove your profile photo or cover image at any time.

Profile Information

You can add or edit the following details on your profile:

  • Display Name and Bio (up to 500 characters)
  • Location, Occupation, and Company
  • Website URL
  • Birthday (full date or month/day only)
  • Gender, Education Level, and Relationship Status
  • Languages you speak
  • Interests as tags (e.g., music, science, fitness)
  • Social Media Links (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest)
  • Looking For options: job, collaboration, networking, speaking, consulting, research
  • Open to Work and Open to Relationship/Marriage toggles
  • Workplaces with current/previous status
  • Education History (schools, colleges, universities)
  • More About Me section (up to 1000 characters)
  • TrueScience Harmony level (your stage in the LifeEngineering journey)

Profile Completion Score

A completion score shows how much of your profile is filled in, along with recommendations on what to add next. A more complete profile helps others discover and connect with you.

Profile Stats

Your profile displays your community activity at a glance, including your post count, replies, and likes received.

3. Account Settings

Manage your security, privacy, blocked users, reports, and account from shuunnya.org/settings.

Security

  • Change your password.
  • View your active sessions (including device and creation date).
  • Log out from all devices at once.
  • Generate or regenerate recovery codes (with copy-to-clipboard).

Privacy

  • Profile Visibility: Choose who can see your profile. Options are Public, Members Only, or Private.
  • Show Online Status: Toggle whether others can see when you are online.
  • Birthday Display: Choose to show the full date, only month and day, or hide it entirely.

Blocked Users

  • View the list of users you have blocked.
  • Unblock individual users from this list.

My Reports

  • View all reports you have submitted (from both social feed and forums).
  • Filter reports by source (All, Social, Forum).
  • See the status of each report (pending, reviewed, resolved) along with any resolution notes.

Account Management

  • Export Your Data: Download all your personal data as a file. This includes your profile, posts, messages, and activity.
  • Delete Account: Request account deletion with an optional reason. There is a 30-day grace period during which you can cancel the deletion.
  • View pending deletion status with a countdown, and cancel it if you change your mind.

4. Status Feed

The Status Feed is where you share updates with the community and interact with what others are posting. Visit Connect > StatusFeed from the menu.

Posting a Status

  • Click the "Share" button at the top of the feed.
  • Write your update. You can optionally attach an image and set a mood (Happy, Sad, Excited, Thoughtful, Grateful, Tired, Angry, Loved, Celebrating, Working).
  • Your status is visible to the community. Statuses have a time limit, and a countdown shows how much time remains before they expire.

Interacting with Statuses

  • Like: Click the heart icon to like a status. Click again to unlike.
  • Comment: Add comments on any status. You can also reply to comments (nested replies up to 2 levels).
  • Like Comments: You can like individual comments and replies too.
  • Delete: You can delete your own statuses and comments.

Browsing the Feed

  • The feed shows status updates from community members with their name, username, and avatar.
  • Each status shows the time it was posted and the number of likes and comments.
  • Scroll down and use "Load More" to see older updates.

5. VibeMatch (Members Directory)

VibeMatch lets you discover and connect with other Shuunnya members based on shared interests, location, goals, and more. Visit Connect > VibeMatch from the menu.

Browsing Members

  • Members are displayed in a grid showing their photo, name, bio, location, occupation, interests, and online status.
  • Click on any member card to visit their full profile.
  • Use "Load More" to browse additional members.

Search

  • Keyword Search: Search by name, location, or skills.
  • Semantic Search: Describe the kind of person you are looking for in natural language (e.g., "someone interested in meditation and coding in Bangalore") and let the system find the best matches.

Advanced Filters

Expand the VibeMatch filter panel to narrow results by:

  • Location, occupation, education, workplace, or institution
  • Age group or specific age range
  • Gender, relationship status, and languages spoken
  • TrueScience Harmony level
  • Custom interests (add tags to match specific topics)
  • Availability toggles: Open to Work, Open to Relationship, Has Profile Photo, Mutual Interests

Sorting

Sort results by Recently Joined, Most Active, or Alphabetical (A to Z).

6. Forums

Forums are Shuunnya's community discussion space. Ask questions, share knowledge, and engage in topic-based conversations. Visit Forum > All Forums from the menu.

Browsing Forums

  • The forums home page shows all available categories along with featured, hot, and recent topics.
  • Click any category to see topics within it.
  • Browse by tags or view unanswered questions to help others.

Creating a Topic

  • Click "New Topic" or visit Forum > New Topic.
  • Select a category, add a title, and write your content.
  • Optionally add tags and a flair to help others find your topic.
  • Click Post to publish your topic.

Replying & Discussions

  • Open any topic to read the full discussion.
  • Write a reply using the reply form at the bottom.
  • You can edit or delete your own topics and replies.

Voting

  • Upvote or downvote topics and replies to show agreement or highlight useful content.
  • Voting affects the community reputation system.

Marking Solutions

If you created a topic asking a question, you can mark a reply as the accepted solution. This helps future readers quickly find the answer.

Bookmarks

  • Bookmark topics or replies you want to revisit later.
  • Add personal notes to your bookmarks for context.
  • View all your bookmarks from Forum > Bookmarks.

My Threads

View all topics you have created from Forum > My Threads.

Search & Discovery

  • Use Forum Search to find topics across all categories.
  • Browse topics by tag to discover content in specific areas of interest.
  • Check the community leaderboard to see top contributors.

Subscriptions

  • Subscribe to categories or topics to get notified when new content is posted.
  • Manage your subscriptions and notification preferences from within the forums.

7. Messenger

Messenger is Shuunnya's built-in private messaging system. It is available as a floating widget on every page, so you can chat while using any other feature.

Accessing Messenger

  • Click the messenger icon (usually in the bottom corner of your screen) to open the chat panel.
  • An unread message badge appears on the icon when you have new messages.
  • On desktop, you can toggle between a compact window and fullscreen mode.

Starting a Conversation

  • Click the new conversation button in the messenger panel.
  • Search for a user by name or username.
  • Select the person and start typing your message.

Sending Messages

  • Type your message and press Enter (or click Send) to send.
  • Messages appear in real time with delivery status indicators (sending, sent, delivered, read).
  • You can see typing indicators when the other person is writing.

Media & Attachments

  • Images: Share images with inline previews directly in the chat.
  • Files: Attach and share documents, PDFs, spreadsheets, and other files.
  • Voice Messages: Record and send voice messages using the built-in recorder.

Message Actions

  • Reply to specific messages within a conversation.
  • Delete messages (for yourself or for everyone in the conversation).
  • On desktop, right-click a message for options. On mobile, long-press a message.
  • An "edited" indicator appears on messages that have been modified.

Voice & Video Calls

  • Start a voice or video call directly from a conversation.
  • Toggle your microphone and camera on or off during a call.
  • See call duration and status in real time.
  • Receive incoming call notifications with the option to accept or decline.

Conversation Management

  • Search through your conversations to quickly find a specific one.
  • Archive conversations you want to hide from your main list.
  • Delete or leave conversations when they are no longer needed.
  • See the online status of your contacts.

8. Notifications

Stay updated on what is happening across the platform. Visit Notifications from the header icon.

What You Get Notified About

  • Someone likes your status or comment
  • Someone comments on your status
  • Someone replies to your comment
  • You are mentioned in a status, forum topic, or reply
  • A reply to your forum topic is marked as a solution
  • System announcements and updates

Managing Notifications

  • Click a notification to go directly to the related content.
  • Mark individual notifications as read, or mark all as read at once.
  • Filter between "All" and "Unread" notifications.
  • An unread count badge appears on the notification bell in the header.

9. Shuunnya AI

Shuunnya AI is your intelligent assistant that helps you learn, plan, explore, and clarify concepts instantly. It is available as a floating chat widget on every page -- click the golden AI icon in the bottom corner to open it.

Starting a Conversation

  • Click the AI chat icon (golden bubble) in the bottom corner of any page, or open it from the Tools menu.
  • Type your question in the message box and press Enter to send.
  • Use Shift+Enter to add a new line in your message.
  • Shuunnya AI begins streaming a response instantly.

What You Can Ask

  • Academic and study-related questions
  • Planning and productivity help
  • Factual topics and general knowledge
  • Life guidance and well-being questions

Managing Conversations

  • Start a new conversation at any time using the new chat button.
  • View your past conversations from the conversation list.
  • Rename conversations for easy reference.
  • Delete conversations you no longer need.

Useful Features

  • Copy: Every response includes a copy button to copy the full answer.
  • Download: Download an entire conversation as a text file for revision or reference.
  • Suggested Prompts: Helpful starting questions are displayed when you open a new conversation.
  • Streaming Responses: Answers appear word by word in real time for a smooth reading experience.

Mobile Experience

  • On mobile devices, Shuunnya AI expands to full screen for comfortable reading and typing.
  • The interface adapts smoothly to smaller screens with optimized scrolling and keyboard handling.

Tips

  • Use clear, specific questions for the best responses.
  • Break long topics into smaller parts for better clarity.
  • Download important chats for revision or future reference.
  • Start a new chat when switching to a completely different subject for more focused answers.

10. Learn (Courses & LMS)

Shuunnya's learning platform lets you enrol in structured courses, track your progress, take quizzes, and earn certificates. Access it from Learn > All Courses in the menu.

Browsing Courses

  • The All Courses page shows every available course with a thumbnail, title, and description.
  • Filter courses by category (e.g., Class 11, TrueScience) or by exam tag (NEET, JEE Main, JEE Advanced, MBA, UPSC).
  • Click on a course to see its full details, syllabus, and lesson structure.

Enrolling in a Course

  • Open a course and click the "Enrol Now" button.
  • Once enrolled, the course appears on your Learning Dashboard.
  • You can cancel your enrolment at any time from the course page.

Learning Dashboard

Your Dashboard gives you an overview of your learning journey:

  • Total courses enrolled and courses completed
  • Total topics learned
  • Current learning streak (consecutive days of activity)
  • Quick links to continue each active course
  • Your earned certificates

Course Structure

Each course is organized into Lessons, and each lesson contains Topics.

  • Open a course to see the full curriculum (list of lessons and topics).
  • Click on a topic to read its content.
  • Use the navigation controls to move between topics within a lesson.

Tracking Progress

  • After reading a topic, click "Mark as Complete" to record your progress.
  • A progress bar on the course page shows what percentage you have completed.
  • The topic counter (e.g., "15 / 40 topics completed") updates as you progress.

Quizzes

  • Some topics include quizzes to test your understanding.
  • Answer the questions and submit to see your score.
  • Your quiz performance is tracked as part of your learning statistics.

Certificates

  • When you complete all topics in a course, you can generate a certificate.
  • Enter the name you want displayed on the certificate and click Generate.
  • View and download your certificates from the Learning Dashboard.

Best Use

Learn in small, consistent sessions. Capture insights in LifeJournal, apply them through LifeTracker, and discuss in Forums.

11. MeditationSpace

MeditationSpace is your guided breathing and meditation companion. It helps you practise mindfulness through controlled breathing cycles, ambient sound, and a meditation timer. Visit LifeWay > LifeMeditation from the menu.

Breathing Mode

Guided breathing follows the 4-4-4 cycle: Inhale for 4 seconds, Hold for 4 seconds, Exhale for 4 seconds.

  • An animated circle expands and contracts to guide your breathing.
  • The current phase is displayed on screen (Breathe In, Hold, Breathe Out).
  • A cycle counter keeps track of how many breathing cycles you have completed.
  • Audio cues play at each phase change (if sound is enabled).

Meditation Timer Mode

Set a fixed duration for silent meditation or meditation with ambient sound.

  • Choose from preset durations: 1, 5, 10, 15, or 20 minutes.
  • A large countdown display shows the remaining time.
  • The timer stops automatically when time is up.

Ambient Sound

  • Toggle ambient sound on or off using the speaker icon.
  • Adjust volume with the slider control.
  • Sound plays automatically when you start a session (if enabled).

Controls

  • Play/Pause: Start or pause your breathing or meditation session.
  • Reset: Return everything to the starting position.
  • Sound: Toggle ambient sound on or off.

Tips

  • Use Breathing Mode for quick centering before study, work, or sleep.
  • Choose Timer Mode for deeper silent meditation sessions.
  • Keep volume at a low, gentle level for long sessions.

12. LifeNutrition

LifeNutrition calculates your daily nutritional requirements based on your body profile and activity level. Visit LifeWay > LifeNutrition from the menu.

Creating Nutrition Profiles

  • When logged in, you can create multiple nutrition profiles (for yourself or family members).
  • Enter your age, gender, height, weight, and activity level (sedentary to very active).
  • Set a default profile for quick access.

Calculations

The calculator provides:

  • BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate): The calories your body needs at rest.
  • TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure): Your total daily calorie requirement based on activity level.
  • Macro Breakdown: Recommended daily intake of protein, carbohydrates, and fats.

Quick Calculator

If you are not logged in, you can still use the quick calculator for a one-time calculation without saving.

Tips

  • Use the calculated TDEE to guide your daily food intake.
  • Update your profile periodically as your weight or activity level changes.

Note: This tool provides estimates based on standard formulas. Consult a healthcare professional for personalized dietary advice.

13. LifeDiet

LifeDiet is a comprehensive daily diet tracker that helps you log meals, monitor nutrition, and track water intake. Visit LifeWay > LifeDiet from the menu.

Logging Your Meals

  • Log what you eat for each meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Snacks.
  • Search for foods from the built-in database or quick-add your favourites.
  • Adjust portions and quantities as needed.
  • Remove foods from your log if you made a mistake.

Custom Foods

  • Create custom food entries for homemade or local dishes that are not in the database.
  • Enter the name and nutritional information (calories, protein, carbs, fats).
  • Edit or delete custom foods anytime.

Favourites

  • Star foods you eat regularly to save them as favourites.
  • Access your favourites list for quick meal logging.

Macro Progress

Visual progress bars show your daily intake versus your goals for:

  • Calories
  • Protein
  • Carbohydrates
  • Fats

Water Tracker

Track your daily water intake with a visual progress display.

Tabs

  • Today: View and edit today's meals and nutrition totals.
  • Foods: Browse the food database, manage favourites, and create custom foods.
  • Calendar: View your diet history for any past date.
  • Stats: See nutrition statistics and trends over time.
  • Settings: Set your daily nutrition goals and preferences.

14. LifeTodos

LifeTodos is your personal task and priority manager. Visit LifeWay > LifeTodos from the menu.

Creating a Todo

  • Enter a title for your task (required).
  • Optionally add details, a due date, and a priority level (Low, Medium, High).
  • Click Save to store it. New tasks appear in your list immediately.

Viewing and Editing

  • Click View/Edit beside any task to load it into the form for editing.
  • Modify values and click Update to save changes.

Marking as Completed

Click the checkbox next to any task to toggle between Open and Completed. Progress indicators update automatically.

Filtering

  • Use quick tabs at the top to switch between All, Open, or Completed tasks.
  • Expand the Filter panel for advanced filtering by date range, priority, status, or search text.

Exporting

Click Export to download your tasks as a CSV file for backup or use in spreadsheet applications.

Tips

  • Use priority levels to highlight important tasks.
  • Set due dates to plan ahead.
  • Use the search filter to quickly locate tasks by content.

15. LifeJournal

LifeJournal is your private space to record daily reflections, experiences, and lessons. Visit LifeWay > LifeJournal from the menu.

Creating an Entry

  • Select a date (defaults to today).
  • Optionally add a title (like "Morning Thoughts" or "Evening Reflection").
  • Write your journal entry in the text area.
  • Set a mood to capture how you are feeling (optional).
  • Add tags to categorize your entries.
  • Click Save Entry to store it securely.

Viewing and Editing

  • Scroll to the entries section to see all your journal entries.
  • Click View/Edit on any entry to open and modify it.
  • Click Delete to permanently remove an entry.

Calendar View

Use the calendar view to see at a glance which days you have written journal entries.

Search & Filtering

  • Search through your entries by content.
  • Use date filters to view entries from a specific time range.

Statistics

View your journal writing stats to track your consistency and writing habits over time.

Best Use

Write short reflections after each study session or meaningful event. Review them weekly to track your growth.

16. LifeTracker

LifeTracker helps you cultivate consistency across daily habits, from meditation and sleep to nutrition and productivity. Visit LifeWay > LifeTracker from the menu.

Recording Your Day

For each day, fill in your progress across two categories:

  • LifeCore: Meditation (minutes), Pomodoros (count), Affirmations done (Yes/No), Alignment maintained (Yes/No)
  • LifeCrust: Workout, Nutrition, Water, Timely Sleep, Sleep Hours, Notes, Work Target completed

Click Save to store your progress for that date.

Setting Targets

Set daily targets for your habits to track how well you are meeting your goals.

Viewing Your Report

  • Expand the Report section.
  • Select a date range (From and To dates).
  • Click Load History to see a detailed table of all entries.
  • The report includes a weekly summary showing total meditation minutes, total Pomodoros, and average sleep.

Export & Delete

  • Export CSV: Download your habit history for the selected date range as a spreadsheet-compatible file.
  • Delete History: Permanently remove entries within the selected date range (confirmation required).

Tips

  • Open LifeTracker daily and save before ending your day.
  • Use the Notes field to record your focus theme or self-reflection.
  • Export regularly if you want a personal backup.

Track essentials like "sleep hours," "focus," "alignment," or "gratitude." Log once a day; review your report weekly.

17. LifeProjects

LifeProjects helps you manage personal and collaborative projects with structured tasks and milestones. Visit LifeWay > LifeProjects from the menu.

Creating a Project

  • Click + Add Project at the top.
  • Give it a title (click the title bar to rename).
  • Projects are collapsible cards that you can expand or collapse.

Managing Components

Each project contains a grid of components (tasks, goals, or milestones). Each component has:

  • Particulars: Description of the task.
  • Category: Phase or type (e.g., Design, Execution, Review).
  • Status: Not started, In progress, Paused, Blocked, or Done.
  • Responsibility: Who is in charge.
  • Milestone: Key deliverable or checkpoint.
  • Notes: Additional details.

Use the Up/Down buttons to reorder components, or the keyboard shortcut Alt + Arrow keys.

Saving, Deleting & Exporting

  • Click Save to store your project and all its components.
  • Click Delete to permanently remove a project (confirmation required).
  • Click Export to download all your projects as a CSV file.

Best Use

Create clear project titles, set milestones, and update progress as you go. Ideal for collaborations, study goals, or personal development missions.

18. ShuunnyaNotes

ShuunnyaNotes is your personal notes workspace where you can create, edit, and organize rich text notes. Visit Tools > ShuunnyaNotes from the menu.

Creating Notes

  • Click "New Note" to start a fresh note.
  • Give it a title by clicking on the title area to edit.
  • Use the rich text editor to write and format your content.

Managing Notes

  • Toggle between grid and list view to browse your notes.
  • Search notes by title.
  • Duplicate a note to create a copy.
  • Export a note as an HTML file.
  • Delete notes you no longer need (confirmation required).

Auto-Save

Your work is saved automatically as you type. A status indicator shows whether changes are saved, saving, or unsaved. You can also save manually at any time.

19. ShuunnyaTables

ShuunnyaTables is your personal spreadsheet workspace where you can create and manage data tables with formula support. Visit Tools > ShuunnyaTables from the menu.

Creating Tables

  • Click "New Table" to start a fresh table.
  • Give it a title by clicking on the title area to edit.
  • Enter data into cells and navigate using your keyboard or mouse.

Formulas

ShuunnyaTables supports common formulas for calculations:

  • SUM, AVERAGE, COUNT, MIN, MAX, IF

Managing Tables

  • Toggle between grid and list view.
  • Search tables by title.
  • Duplicate a table to create a copy.
  • Export a table as a CSV file.
  • Delete tables you no longer need (confirmation required).

Auto-Save

Your work is saved automatically. A status indicator keeps you informed of the save state.

20. Pomodoro Timer

The Pomodoro Timer helps you stay productive through focused work sessions and mindful breaks. Visit Tools > PomodoroTimer from the menu.

Timer Modes

  • Focus: Deep work session (default 25 minutes).
  • Short Break: Quick rest (default 5 minutes).
  • Long Break: Extended recharge (default 15 minutes).

Switch between modes manually using the Switch button.

Controls

  • Start: Begin the countdown.
  • Pause: Temporarily stop the timer. Resume from the same point.
  • Switch: Cycle between Focus, Short Break, and Long Break.
  • Reset: Stop the timer and reset to the default Focus mode.

Settings

Customise your timer by expanding the Settings panel:

  • Adjust the duration for Focus, Short Break, and Long Break.
  • Set how many Focus sessions before a Long Break.
  • Enable or disable desktop notifications.
  • Toggle the end-of-session sound chime.

Daily Goal & Progress

  • Set a daily Pomodoro goal and track your progress towards it.
  • Each completed Focus session increases your daily count.
  • The count resets daily.

History & Statistics

  • View your session history with details of each completed session.
  • Use the calendar view to see which days you completed Pomodoro sessions.
  • Check your statistics and trends over time.

Additional Features

  • Wake Lock: Keeps your screen awake while a timer is running.
  • Sound Alert: A chime plays when a session ends.
  • Desktop Notification: A "Session complete" message appears when enabled.

21. Stopwatch & Timer

A dual-purpose time tracker for workouts, productivity, and daily routines. Visit Tools > Stopwatch & Timer from the menu.

Stopwatch Mode

  • Large digital time display (HH:MM:SS).
  • Click Start to begin counting up. Click Pause to stop temporarily.
  • Click Reset to return to 00:00:00.

Timer Mode

  • Enter hours, minutes, or seconds (any combination).
  • Click Start to begin the countdown.
  • A sound alert plays automatically when the timer reaches zero.
  • Click Reset to clear inputs and restart.

Switch between modes using the slider toggle at the top of the widget.

22. Math Calculator

A clean, distraction-free calculator for quick arithmetic. Visit Tools > MathCalculator from the menu.

  • Select a category (e.g., Length).

  • Clear: Reset all fields.

24. Budget Tracker

Manage multiple budgets in one dashboard. Visit Finance > Budget Tracker from the menu.

Creating a Budget

  • Click + Add Budget Tracker.
  • Rename it by clicking the editable title bar.
  • Select your currency (₹, $, €, £, or ¥).
  • Enter your monthly income or budget amount.
  • Add expenses (name + amount). You can add as many expense rows as needed.

Summary

The summary updates live as you enter values:

  • Total Income / Budget
  • Total Expenses
  • Balance / Remaining (shown in green if positive, red if negative)

Actions

  • Save: Stores your budget data securely.
  • Delete Tracker: Removes the tracker permanently (confirmation required).

25. Tax Manager

Organise, calculate, and store your yearly tax-related data in one place. Visit Finance > Tax Manager from the menu.

Creating a Tax Manager

  • Click + Add Tax Manager. Rename it by clicking the title text.
  • Each manager can track separate financial years or personal vs. business taxes.

Sections

  • Personal Information: PAN, Assessment Year, Financial Year, Tax Regime (Old or New), Employment Type, Residential Status.
  • Income: Track salary, house property, business income, rent, interest, dividends, and exempt income.
  • Deductions: 80C items, medical insurance (80D), education loan (80E), donations (80G), NPS (80CCD), housing loan interest, and others.
  • Capital Gains: Short-term and long-term gains from equity, property, gold, debt funds, and other assets.
  • Tax Paid: TDS, Advance Tax, and Self-Assessment Tax records.
  • Expenses, Assets & Liabilities: Complete financial snapshot including property, investments, loans, and other obligations.

Exporting

Click Export PDF to generate a downloadable file containing all the data in that manager. This is useful for tax filing or sharing with a CA.

Tips

  • Save frequently after adding multiple entries.
  • The accordion design allows only one manager open at a time for clarity.

26. EMI Calculator

Calculate monthly loan payments based on loan amount, interest rate, and tenure. Visit Finance > EMI Calculator from the menu.

Inputs

  • Loan Amount: The principal amount borrowed.
  • Annual Interest Rate (%): Interest charged yearly.
  • Loan Tenure (Years): Duration of the loan.

Outputs

  • Monthly EMI amount
  • Total interest payable over the loan period
  • Total amount payable (principal + interest)
  • Detailed amortization table showing the payment schedule

Results update instantly as you change any value. Click Reset to clear all fields.

27. FD Calculator

Calculate maturity value, total interest earned, and effective annual yield for fixed deposits. Visit Finance > FD Calculator from the menu.

You can create multiple FD calculators for different banks or terms using + Add FD Calculator. Each one can be renamed, saved, or deleted independently.

28. SIP & RD Calculator

Estimate the future value of your Systematic Investment Plan or Recurring Deposit. Visit Finance > SIP & RD Calculator from the menu.

Inputs

  • Monthly Investment: The amount you invest every month.
  • Investment Period (Years): Total duration.
  • Expected Annual Return (%): Estimated rate of return per year.

Outputs

  • Total amount invested
  • Estimated returns (wealth gained)
  • Maturity value (total corpus at the end)
  • Year-wise projections of growth

Results update in real time as you type. Click Reset to clear all inputs.

Get a high-level overview of your monthly financial health. Visit Finance > Finance Tracker from the menu.

A comprehensive tool for recording and analysing income, expenses, investments, and liabilities with automatic monthly normalization. Visit Finance > Finance Manager from the menu.

Tracker Sections

  • Income: Add multiple income sources with name, amount, and frequency (Monthly, Weekly, Quarterly, Yearly).
  • Investments: Track SIPs, Mutual Funds, Fixed Deposits, and other investments.
  • Liabilities: Record loans, EMIs, and credit payments.
  • Expenses: General spending like utilities, groceries, or rent.

All entries are automatically normalized to monthly equivalents for easy comparison.

Convert between global currencies using live exchange rates. Visit Finance > Currency Converter from the menu.

How to Use

  • Enter the amount you want to convert.
  • Choose the "From" currency (e.g., USD).
  • Choose the "To" currency (e.g., INR).
  • The result updates automatically as you type.
  • Use the Swap button to instantly reverse the conversion direction.

Exchange Rates

Rates are sourced from the European Central Bank and refreshed regularly, so your conversions are accurate and up to date.

34. Safety & Reporting

Shuunnya provides tools to help you manage your experience and keep the community safe.

Blocking Users

  • You can block a user from their profile or from a conversation.
  • Blocked users cannot see your profile, send you messages, or interact with your content.
  • Manage your blocked list from Account Settings > Blocked Users.

Reporting Content or Users

  • If you see something that violates community guidelines, you can report it.
  • Reports are available on user profiles, statuses, comments, forum topics, and forum replies.
  • Select a reason for the report and optionally add a description.
  • Track the status of your submitted reports from Account Settings > My Reports.

Data & Privacy

  • Data Export: Download all your personal data anytime from Account Settings.
  • Account Deletion: Request permanent account deletion with a 30-day grace period to change your mind.
  • Read our Privacy Policy for details on how your data is handled.
  • Read our Child Safety Policy for protections related to minors.

35. Mobile App

Shuunnya is available as a mobile app for Android, giving you access to all Platform features on the go.

What You Get

  • Your account, data, and progress sync seamlessly between the website and the app.

Push Notifications

  • Enable push notifications to receive alerts for new messages, replies, and other activity even when the app is closed.
  • You can enable or disable push notifications at any time through your device settings.

Offline Access

If you lose internet connectivity, the app will display an offline notice. Most features require an active internet connection to function.
