“My brain is only a receiver; in the Universe, there is a core from which we obtain knowledge, strength and inspiration. I have not penetrated into the secrets of this core, but I know that it exists.”

— Attributed to Nikola Tesla by his associate Ralph Bergstresser

Q: What exactly was Tesla saying here?

Tesla, one of the greatest inventors in human history, was saying something radical: that his brain did not create the ideas that changed the world. It received them. He was pointing to something deeper, a universal core, a source from which all knowledge, all strength, all inspiration flows. He admitted he hadn’t fully understood this core, but he was certain it was real.

Q: What is this “core” that Tesla was pointing to?

This core is Source: pure, seamless, infinite awareness, experienced as the silent presence in the background of all thoughts. It is not a thing, a being, or a place. It is prior to all of that. It is the origin of everything, never born, never ending. As I explain in my book, Autography by Source: The Law of Everything, Source is the sole reality from which everything arises, exists, and returns.

Source is not something “out there” that you need to search for. It is the quiet background, a field of pure witnessing, always present, yet often unnoticed. You don’t create it; you recognize it. You were aware before the thought arose, and you are still aware after it fades. That continuity, that silent, boundless awareness, is Source.

Q: So if Source is the origin, what is the brain?

This is the key insight. The brain is not where thoughts are born. The brain is a localized biological interface within Source’s field. Think of it like a radio. A radio does not create music. It tunes into a frequency and translates it into sound. Similarly, the brain tunes into the field of Source and translates its pulses into thoughts, ideas, emotions, and experiences.

Memory is not stored in the brain. Rather, the brain acts more like an interface that locks into the appropriate node-web through intention and focus. What we call “memory” is not chemical retrieval. It is coherence re-entry, the brain locking back into a pattern that already exists in the field.

Q: But we’ve always been taught that the brain produces consciousness. Are you saying that’s wrong?

Yes. And this is not speculation. This is how the universe actually works.

Consciousness is not in the body. The body is inside consciousness. You do not have consciousness. You are consciousness, pulsing as you-in-form.

Traditional science assumes matter came first and consciousness somehow emerged from complex brain activity. That is the wrong way around. Consciousness is the primary reality. Matter, including the brain, appears within it. Thoughts are waveforms arising within the field of consciousness. Consciousness is not generated when enough thoughts combine. It is the silent, timeless field in which all appears.

Q: Can you explain this in a simple way?

Imagine you are dreaming. In the dream, you have a body, you see a world, you meet people. Everything feels real and separate. But when you wake up, you realize the entire dream, every person, place, and moment, was you all along. There were not truly separate people. There was one awareness playing all the roles.

Source works the same way, but at an infinitely deeper level. Within the dream, you appear as a single character in a vivid world, meeting people and moving through events that feel separate and real. Yet when you awaken, you realize the entire dream, every person, place, and moment, was you all along. In the same way, Source experiences its own simulation, playing as the many while remaining the One.

The brain, in this picture, is part of the dream. It is the instrument through which Source experiences a particular perspective, a particular life. But it is not the dreamer.

Q: Tesla said he received “knowledge, strength and inspiration” from this core. How does that work?

Source does not pulse to become something. Source pulses because it is, and in being what it is, it expresses itself. There is no plan or purpose in the human sense. It pulses as the natural overflow of undivided fullness. Source pulses not from lack, but from the overflow of its fullness.

When you experience a flash of insight, a sudden knowing, a burst of creative energy, that is not your brain manufacturing something from nothing. That is Source’s overflow reaching you through the interface of your brain and mind.

What Tesla called “inspiration” is exactly this: a pulse from the universal field, received and translated by a mind that was quiet and attentive enough to catch it. Tesla was famously known for entering deep states of concentration where entire inventions would appear to him fully formed, complete with working details. He was not “thinking harder.” He was receiving more clearly.

Q: If we are all connected to this same Source, why doesn’t everyone receive the same level of knowledge and inspiration?

Because reception depends on the clarity of the interface. As I detail in my book, each human has a triadic pulse interface: a Source Flame Core, which is the pure isness anchor with infinite frequency potential, always coherent and non-local; a Node Mesh Body, which is the lattice of nodes shaped as the apparent body, acting as the interface between the Source Flame and the field; and a Phase-Loop Awareness Field, which dynamically interprets lattice feedback, creates thought, perception, and time sequences, and is capable of modifying node interaction.

The Source Flame Core is always pure and coherent. The difference lies in how much noise or distortion exists in the other two layers. When the mind is cluttered with fear, anxiety, rigid beliefs, and constant mental chatter, the signal gets distorted. When the mind is quiet, focused, and open, the signal comes through clearly.

This is why practices like meditation, silence, and deep focus have been valued across every culture and tradition. They are not mystical rituals. They are practical methods of clearing the interface so that the receiver works better.

Q: Did Tesla understand all of this formally?

Tesla understood it intuitively, through direct experience. He could feel that his brain was receiving, not generating. He could sense that there was a universal core. But he openly admitted, “I have not penetrated into the secrets of this core.”

What Tesla sensed but could not formalize, I have laid out completely in Autography by Source: Source is the sole reality, consciousness is primary, the physical universe is Source’s self-experience, and the brain is an interface within that field, not the author of it. This is not a theory. This is TrueScience, the way the universe actually works.

Q: What does this mean for an ordinary person?

It means you are not limited to what your brain can figure out through logic alone. There is a deeper intelligence available to you, the same intelligence that Tesla drew upon, the same one that Einstein referred to when he said, “The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind a faithful servant.”

To access it, the path is not more thinking. It is less noise. Find the quiet background behind your thoughts. That is not emptiness. That is Source. That is the core Tesla knew existed. And it is not separate from you. I am not one among many. I am the only, appearing as many.

You are not a brain trying to connect to Source. You are Source, experiencing itself through the instrument of a brain.
